Chatbots and GraphQL – The Use of Data Can be Sexy

Data isn’t always sexy, but the dynamic use of it can be quite alluring. That’s why we’re loving another AI-chatbot application using GraphQL. GraphQL allows developers to issue queries or question against a company’s system, such as financial reporting system, a CRM or a project management system.

One of the more exciting prospects of AI is using it to build cool technology that would often be cost prohibitive if a custom development was needed to “move the data around.” While we love to build custom software, and it can be the right way to go, we’re excited about the joint use of AI and GraphQL to reduce development costs and provide greater access to technology solutions.

An example pops to mind. Let’s say a business development professional needs to write a proposal. She could query an internal chatbot and ask for all proposals written for a specific industry (or product offering). Or, have the chatbot write a paragraph on the company’s experience and capabilities with targeted parameters. GraphQL makes this easier and more cost effective to execute.

There are many more AI solutions such as these that cost less and achieve more. We like that proposition.
